A new inline skate shop will opened within the next couple of weeks. The shops name will be "Vertigo-Iztok" and will be located in the city of Varna.

Spring Sessions Montana Competition 2008

Once again Montana was the host for a new aggressive inline skating competition. AISA DISASTER organised this competition to welcome the nice new weather and to start the inline skating season. The main organisors were Pavel Mitrenga and Kiril Trayanov. Sponsors for the event were EXIT Clothing, Dragon, VERTIGO Skates (Sofia) and SWITCH Boards and Blades (Montana).

I started skating in Bulgaria back in 1999 and I can say that I know most of the riders from this period onwards. Not all of them like me but then again I don't like all of them either, such is life. For the last couple of years the scene in Bulgaria has undergone a minor explosion. Back in 1999 almost everyone knew each other and in a sense they respected each other- many people did not like each other but at least respected the talents of others. Now there are so many new riders starting to skate all over Bulgaria that our small scene is not so small anymore. Who knows all the riders from Vidin, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Montana? Nobody does. Its sad we are not the small family we used to be and yet exciting that when we organise an event we can easily get 200 people showing up with skates. Ofcourse not everyone will skate but still its nice to see so many people with skates.
